“On December 1, 2018, Lutheran Senior Services celebrated 160 years of ministry impact. With the founding of the first protestant hospital in 1858, Lutheran Senior Services has grown to become the largest not-for profit in St. Louis providing senior services with a faith inspired mission of Older Adults Living Life to the Fullest.
To celebrate this momentous milestone, Lutheran Senior Services celebrated with a gala honoring the 160 years of generous hearts that has impacted the lives of many. Highlighting our respect for the past, honor for the present, and the need to protect the future, over 600 attendees were present at Union Station. Proceeds from the event supported the Abundant Needs Fund with the sole aim of assisting seniors who have outlived their financial resources and Project Wellness which services older adults with taking control of their health.”
- Overview
On this piece, I worked closely with the writer and the Foundation to create a video for their gala that would provide an overview of where the organization has come from, where it is currently, and where it plans to go in the future.
